Shedd Adventures 2013

Churchill (August 5 to 13)

Belugas and the arctic summer
Come to the beluga whale capital of the world on the shore of Hudson Bay! Motorized rafts on the Churchill River will take you among some of the thousands of belugas that spend the season here. The short arctic summer is ablaze with wildflowers and nearly nonstop daylight, giving you many opportunities to view other wildlife that might include caribou, snowy owls, arctic foxes and even polar bears.
