Fundraising Events

Shedd Aquarium’s annual fundraising events include our Board of Trustees gala, BLU, hosted by our Auxiliary Board and our annual “Fore! the Animals” golf tournament. A variety of opportunities are available to support the community’s most talked-about events. Sponsorship benefits may include exposure on event marketing collateral, on-site recognition, event tickets and more. All event proceeds benefit Shedd Aquarium’s education and conservation initiatives.

Board of Trustees gala

Shedd Aquarium’s annual black-tie gala is attended by approximately 850 of Chicago’s philanthropic and business leaders for a night of cocktails, dinner, entertainment and dancing.

On June 17, 2017, the Board of Trustees hosted “Voyages” Shedd’s Aquarium’s 2017 gala. Funds raised through “Voyages” supported Shedd’s conservation research, environmental stewardship and animal rescue and rehabilitation endeavors.

Sponsorship benefits include on-site naming areas, prominent logo and/or text recognition on event collateral, tables for up to 10 total guests and more.
