Provides application support to users. Develops programs, database structures, data sets and control files to support database systems and research projects. Maintains and updates existing systems of programs. Maintains data quality and integrity of large data sets. Analyzes data and prepares reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, SPSS and other various packages. Consults with departments to assist them with projects. Diagnoses systems problems, coordinates with customer-service-oriented alternatives for systems support. Creates detailed designs and plans for new systems and software architecture. Assesses and prioritizes organizational technical infrastructure needs. Coordinates and supervises .NET developer assignments and assists help-desk support staff.
Job Requirements:
B.S. in related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired. Minimum eight years experience in information technology in a related position. Minimum two years supervisory experience of IT personnel.
