Mark SchickYour Shedd host, Mark Schick, is intimately acquainted with the reef life of the tropical Pacific Ocean. As special exhibits collection manager, he oversees our Jellies exhibit and the seahorse collection. He was also instrumental in the husbandry work for Wild Reef. Jumping over to the Caribbean, he is active in the field in an international coral reproduction and conservation project. Mark has worked at Shedd since 1997.

Important information about this trip
Our dive adventure offers something for everyone, including beginners, experts, photographers and fish aficionados. Dive groups are kept to a maximum of six people per dive master to ensure that everyone has the best personal experience. Water temperatures range between 81 and 84 degrees F into March, then are a bit cooler, 75 to 77 degrees, by May. Most divers are comfortable in a 3mm full wetsuit. For nondivers, the resort offers daily snorkeling trips to the inner and outer reefs, with gear available free of charge.
