Technical Help
With technical support often spread thin in schools, using on-line resources can be daunting. How do you know what browser you're using? What is the Flash plug-in, and how do you ask your technical support staff to install it — or install it yourself? Technical support at SEA is here to help. Web Browser Requirements
To use the SEA Web site, you will need to have either Netscape 4.0 (or higher) or Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher) installed on your computer. Learn more about how to find out what browser you have and where to go to get a free update.
Macromedia Flash Plug-In
The flash plug-in is a free application that allows Internet Explorer and Netscape to play rich Internet content like motion graphics, video and sound. To use many of the computer-based activities on the Web site, you will need the Flash 5 (or higher) plug-in. Find out what version of Flash you are running — or whether or not you have it at all! — and where to go to get a free update.
