Teens are invited to use our Teen Learning Lab to make new friends, work on projects or programs and more! Our equipment is there for their use, and Shedd experts will be there as a resource!
In the Teen Work-Study program, develop your communication skills and deepen your connection to Shedd’s animals and mission through a professional paid work experience.
Kayak to remote islands to camp in the wilderness and conduct science experiments in the field during our Teen Science Expedition: Apostle Islands.
Snorkel in coral reefs, mangrove forests and seagrass beds with Shedd Aquarium instructors and local scientists during our Teen Science Expedition: The Bahamas.
Become a Shedd Steward and team up with Chicago-area teens to monitor, maintain and improve local habitats. Participants can also earn service-learning hours.
