Teens are invited to use our Teen Learning Lab to make new friends, work on projects or programs and more! Our equipment and technology are for their use, and Shedd experts will be there as a resource!

Camp, kayak and canoe on North America’s largest freshwater lake during Shedd's High School Lake Ecology (HSLE) program. No experience necessary!
Travel to the Bahamas aboard Shedd’s research vessel, the R/V Coral Reef II and experience the life of a marine science researcher firsthand as part of High School Marine Biology (HSMB).
Become a Shedd Steward and team up with Chicago-area teens to monitor, maintain and improve local habitats. Participants can also earn service-learning hours.
