Jay Schommer focuses on providing support to Shedd departments that are tasked with caring for the animals and providing an amazing experience for our guests. He assisted with implementing a new data structure for tracking and reporting revenue as well as completed solicitation registration compliance in all 50 states.
Before coming to Shedd, Schommer was the CFO at Chicago Children’s Museum. He started his career as an auditor at Deloitte and spent time at Accenture and SmithBucklin Corporation. He’s a certified public accountant and a member of the CFO Roundtable.
