WHAT: Shedd Aquarium invites moviegoers to a special screening of "Jaws” – inspired by the ocean’s most infamous predator – at the iconic Music Box Theatre. This science-forward showing supports Shedd’s ongoing work for aquatic life, including shark care, research and education efforts.
The event will feature a pre-show chat with shark researcher and “Jaws” superfan Dr. Steve Kessel, director of marine research at Shedd Aquarium, who will myth bust fears and instead spark fascination that inspires care and conservation for these vital animals. Additionally, ahead of the film, moviegoers can mingle with Shedd experts to discover more ways to support our shared blue planet.
Then, sit back and enjoy the feature presentation of the nostalgic thriller film with a fresh perspective and friends or foes alike.
