Mark Schick oversees Shedd Aquarium’s special exhibits, as well as the seahorse collections and live foods area. Schick has more than 25 years of experience with marine aquariums and has worked with a wide variety of animals ranging from invertebrates to fishes and lizards. He is involved in several conservation projects, including Shedd's partnership with the SECORE International Foundation (SExualCOoralREproduction). Determined to embark on his passion, Schick worked through high school at a local fish shop, then double majored in biology and marine ecology at the University of Alabama.
