Mallory Hebert leads the development and execution of advocacy strategies for marine and freshwater protections for Shedd Aquarium. Through strategic storytelling and coalition leadership, she aligns Shedd’s mission with impactful conservation policy outcomes.

Hebert’s work focuses on translating complex science into actionable policy and mobilizing diverse audiences to support aquatic ecosystem protection – building bridges between researchers, policymakers and the public to drive meaningful, lasting change.

Prior to Shedd, Mallory worked at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, contributing to policy research and stakeholder engagement on global food systems, foreign relations and sustainability initiatives. Her experiences blend cross-sector collaboration, community engagement and campaign amplification on a global scale including youth support and education, foundational giving and administrative strategy.
