Yellow clown gobies live in colonies of stony corals. The gobies eat coral polyps in order to make room to lay their eggs there. If the coral is large and healthy, it's typically not harmed. Gobies, in turn, protect the corals from other predators and keep them clean.
Gobies typically use their tails to inch themselves forward and use their fins for steering.
