Educator Expedition: Outdoor Learning at Big Marsh Park
Join Shedd Research Biologist Melissa Youngquist, Ph.D., and fellow Chicagoland educators at Big Marsh Park.
Explore the diverse flora and fauna of wetlands, help Dr. Youngquist collect data on frogs and other wildlife and learn about the history and conservation impact of this 300-acre park. Only a short bus ride from many Chicago schools, Big Marsh Park is an excellent outdoor learning space for students to engage and connect with nature and build skills in environmental education.
Free parking passes for the Soldier Field North Garage, and transportation to and from Big Marsh Park are included.
