Admission includes all aquarium exhibits and live entertainment. Food and beverages available for purchase.

We are in the process of transforming our building as part of Shedd's Centennial Commitment. You may see construction fences, walls and trailers that indicate these changes are in progress. Additionally, the North Terrace will be unavailable as we build new exhibits that will enhance your future visits and make events even more spectacular! FAQs
The event includes all exhibits, touch experiences and entertainment. Some exhibits may close early due to animal care needs, and lights in certain habitats will be dimmed to create a natural nighttime environment for the animals. Wild Reef closes at 9 p.m. Oceanarium and Amazon Rising close at 10 p.m. Please refer to event signage for more information.
Please note, this year’s event festivities are fully indoors - the North Terrace will be unavailable as we build new exhibits that will enhance your future visits and make events even more spectacular!
Mo Mami brings high-energy global rhythms, nostalgia, and the courage to experiment. Her creative intention is simple but profound: "the human essence is weird, so find it." Her style can be described as global, electronic, bass - a practice of mapping sounds across continents and languages. Beyond the decks, Mo Mami organizes Fever Dream, a Pilsen-based party centering queer, femme, and BIPOC DJs rooted in worldwide underground sounds.
Sones de México Ensemble is Chicago's premier Mexican folk music band since 1994 with a Grammy and a Latin Grammy nomination under their belt. The Chicago Tribune says "[They] move seamlessly between styles and instruments playing with rock'n'roll energy without sacrificing cultural authenticity.”
