Who can attend

This program is designed for Scouts in grades 2-5.

The programs are for Girl Scouts only, and the other dates are for all Scouts. Non-Scouts are also invited to participate.

One adult is required to attend for every five children. This is not a drop-off program.

Included

Two hours of hands-on activities and animal investigations that put Scouts in the shoes of a marine biologist.

Participants will receive a one-of-a-kind Shedd Aquarium Marine Biologist patch.

Not included

Meals and snacks are not included. 

Aquarium admission is not included in the program fee. If you would like to explore the aquarium on your own before or after the program, you may add the general admission ticket to your order.

Accessibility

Program includes

  • Use of stairs; elevators are available
  • Sitting on the floor; chairs are available
  • Moving around the aquarium for up to 1 hour
  • Moving around the aquarium, which has varying light, noise and temperature levels

Refund and cancellation policy

No refunds will be issued unless Shedd Aquarium cancels the program. Shedd Aquarium reserves the right to cancel the event for any reason. If your event is canceled, you will be informed by phone as soon as possible. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a full refund within 30 days, based on your original method of payment.
